1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Finhaven", "we", "us", "our" refers to Finhaven, located at 52 Persiaran KLCC, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- "Service" refers to the financial education programs and website operated by Finhaven.
- "User", "you", "your" refers to any individual accessing our website or enrolled in a Finhaven program.
- "Content" refers to all curriculum materials, worksheets, reference guides, and written materials provided as part of a Finhaven program.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions as accepted by you.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website at https://finhaven.live or enrolling in a Finhaven program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or enroll in our programs.
You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in any Finhaven program. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
3. Service Description
Finhaven provides structured financial education programs to adults in Malaysia. Our current programs are:
- Financial Planning for Healthcare Costs (4 weeks, RM 2,300)
- Understanding Government Financial Initiatives (3 weeks, RM 900)
- Portfolio Diversification Concepts (5 weeks, RM 3,100)
Programs are conducted at our Kuala Lumpur centre. We reserve the right to modify program schedules, formats, or content at our discretion, and will communicate material changes to enrolled participants in advance.
Finhaven's programs constitute financial education only. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or any form of regulated financial service under Malaysian law.
4. Enrollment and Registration
To enroll in a Finhaven program:
- Submit an enquiry through our website or contact us directly.
- Receive confirmation of place availability and program schedule from our team.
- Complete payment of the applicable program fee in full.
- Receive written confirmation of enrollment from Finhaven.
Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Finhaven reserves the right to decline enrollment at its discretion. Enrollment is subject to place availability.
5. Payment Terms
Program fees are payable in full prior to the commencement of any program. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer and selected e-wallet platforms as communicated during the enrollment process. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Refund policy: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the program start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund, but participants may request deferral to the next available cohort subject to availability. Finhaven is not responsible for personal circumstances that prevent attendance.
6. User Responsibilities
As a participant or website user, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during the enrollment process
- Attend sessions in a respectful and constructive manner
- Not record, reproduce, or distribute program content without Finhaven's written permission
- Not use our website for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose
- Not transmit any harmful, disruptive, or offensive communications through our website
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Finhaven website and within our programs — including curriculum materials, worksheets, reference guides, and written content — is the intellectual property of Finhaven and is protected under Malaysian copyright law.
Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal licence to use program materials for their own educational purposes only. No commercial use, reproduction, or redistribution of program materials is permitted without prior written consent from Finhaven.
8. Disclaimers
Finhaven's programs provide general financial education. They do not constitute:
- Personalised financial advice
- Investment recommendations
- Insurance or takaful advice
- Legal or tax advice
Program content is provided in good faith based on information available at the time of delivery. Finhaven does not represent that all information will be accurate, complete, or current at the time of your participation. We strongly encourage participants to consult licensed financial planners for decisions specific to their circumstances.
Our website and services are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Finhaven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our programs, including but not limited to financial losses arising from decisions made following program participation.
Finhaven's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the program fee you paid for the specific program to which the claim relates.
10. Termination
Finhaven reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our programs if you breach these Terms and Conditions. In the event of termination for breach, no refund will be provided.
We may also terminate a program cohort for reasons beyond our control (force majeure). In such cases, we will endeavour to reschedule affected participants at the earliest opportunity or provide a pro-rated refund at our discretion.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with Kuala Lumpur as the agreed venue.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or participation in our programs following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
